Warthugs

Wardogs is a tactical military shooter which forsen first played on September 10th 2026.

WARDOGS is a TACTICAL ALL OUT WARFARE FPS where one hundred players split across three teams fight over the control zone. Set in the derelict industrial mountains of Eastern Europe on a destructible battlefield where teamwork pays and cash is king.

- As described by the Steam page.

This game is criticized for being like Tarkov where if you fall behind, then those who sweat this game 🤓 will be able to use their farmed money to buy power. This does make it somewhat harder to stream snipe with fun things like helicopters and explosives being locked behind hours of farming money.

Controversies

Banning stream snipers

On September 17th, 2026, the Wardogs CEO tweeted out the following

Is this a bad take?

I think stream sniping is griefing and should be treated as griefing with regards to temp bans.

Discuss.

There did not seem to be a clear side winning the conversation, instead many decided to try to first define what a stream sniper is and what constitutes as griefing.

One user, mentioning forsen, says

[...] If you ban the people stream sniping him, you're ruining everyone's fun.

While other people, like PirateSoftware, agreeing with the take (archive).

The second tweet to then hit the feed was the CEO asking for griefing clips so he can ban people, because even CEOs are janitors:

I've got a ban boner.

SEND ME YOUR GRIEFING CLIPS, I SHALL REVIEW AND SMITE THEM.

(No whiney bitches plz, legit[i]mate griefing)

- X, Joe Brammer (archive)

Snitches then got to work and provided him with material for his ever growing boner.
