sadE is a third-party channel emote primarily associated with the forsen community and is used to address moments related to semen and (not) milk. It was first added shortly after its creation in November 2021 as an emote depicting sadness, but soon after became known for its current uses thanks to its unintended design. Known by bajs and other twitch users as the "staple baj emote", sadE grew to over 6,500 channel additions across all third party emote services. It is most commonly posted in response to mentions of semen and when Dreamybull's quotes like "oh my god" are used. After its addition, sadE was instantly approved by the majority bajs, however as the time passed, more and more bajs began expressing their weariness towards the emote, often mocking it as "saddy" and labeling it as a "normie emote" out of fatigue.

Design & Origin

The emote is monochrome edit of LULE, whose top half is taken only comprising its eyes, nose and mustache, and adding a new mouth and chin which portray sadness. A liquify effect has also been applied to the eyebrows to make them emphasize the sombre expression.

The first appearance of sadE can be traced back to a reddit post by TripleNaM on Nov 6 2021, with the caption "When chat is spamming "LULE I HAVE NO FRIENDS" and such, it makes me sad LULEDespair", after which it was swiftly added to forsen's chat.

Design Easter Egs

The lower part used for sadE is actually taken from the historical photograph of "The Weeping Frenchman" Jerôme Barzetti, captured in Marseille on the 15th of September 1940 during the transfer of the flags of the French dissolved regiments to Algeria in order to preserve them from the nazis.

The first appearance of the image was on Life Magazine in their March 3, 1941 issue. The caption says: “a Frenchman sheds tears of patriotic grief as the flags of his country’s last regiments are exiled to Africa”. A video recording of the event was also preserved by AP Archives.

Meaning & Usage

Initially used (as intended) for expressing sadness in chat similarly to FeelsBadMan and Sadge, bajs soon realized that at such a small emote size, sadE's mouth appears whiter than its face, which makes it look like the emote has some white substance dripping down the chin.

Thus, the meaning of the emote quickly turned from being an emote about sadness to being associated with bodily fluids like semen, (not) milk, and the act of self-pleasure. Years later, the emote also became related to Dreamybull, the online persona of Perrell Laquarius Brown, an American adult content creator who gained widespread, ironic internet fame and became a viral meme due to his highly expressive, intense, and often loud, explicit videos.

Some moments on stream which trigger chat to spam sadE:

  • Any mention of semen or other bodily fluids
  • Any mention of milk
  • Any mention of the act of self-pleasure and releasing semen
  • Any mention of Dreamybull's phrases "oh my god", "buss", "bussin", "that might just be what i need to"
  • Ironic usage when someone mentions "sad" or "I'm sad"

Spread & Reception

In 2025, sadE has reached 10,000,000 unique uses in forsen's chat.
