On March 2nd, forsen surprised the community with a new and updated intro splash picture alongside news of wanting to sell forsen merch.

For the merch, forsen asked the community to suggest t-shirt designs by making mockup art. He specifically asked the bajs to not create completed art because it wouldn't be used as he has asked Nina to make the art from scratch. This could also possibly be because of licensing and royalty fees would have to be paid out to the artists if they used any of the art as-is.

To this end, "Bob" made a Forsencord threads channel named "suggestions-shirt-ideas" where people, subscribers and non-subscribers alike, could upload their mockups and receive reactions "👍" from people who liked the mockup.

During the announcement stream, once forsen launched Discord, the bajs spammed @forsen in forsencord to do a lidl trolling .

Forsen stressed that people should upvote things that they would actually wear in public, and only upvote based on this.

Illusion of community involvement

(Once forsen saw a shirt design he liked, he locked on to it and didn't consider the other alternatives, forsen also only wanted to make two designs - One that represents the community and one that could be used as "casual wear outside")

For a period of a month, forsen started reviewing the community suggestions on the stream and commenting on what looks good, and putting in effort in interacting with the community to create traffic into the Discord to get people to create new suggestions and vote on existing.

While going through the suggestions, forsen used the lines

• Yeah but I wouldn't wear any of these.
• Yeah but you wouldn't wear this in public.
• Yeah but I would find this hard to explain to people [if they ask me what the t-shirt design is about].

extensively to pivot the designs to something that is normie-friendly.

There was community sentiment against including glorp due to the fact it has escaped containment from the general Twitch community and into the greater internet culture, making it a normie meme.
