Background

Artifact was a card game released by Valve in late 2018, but it died almost instantly on release. Despite the game dying, forsen decided to do a few streams as a joke continuing to play the game. After his streams, bajs almost immediately noticed the lack of moderation in the category and decided to take advantage of it and the visibility that comes from streaming in the category.

Bajs quickly started inflating the category with memes and shitposts, while raiding streamers actually playing the game.

Once bajs noticed the extent of the lack of moderation, the streaming of memes and shitposts quickly turned into full on streams of content including TV Shows, Movies, Anime(NaM), and other forms of copyrighted media.

I'm done giving the Artifact section attention, please stop contacting me about it. It had a good run, shame it had to end this way but I will always remember it for the fun & innocent joke it started off as. My apologies to Twitch for all the extra headache this has caused.

The r/forsen reddit community, along with several discord servers such as Bajs.tv served as organizers to the chaos. Discord servers, such as the mentioned Bajs.tv and other big names such as SpongeBajs, were created specifically for the Artifact streamers and the baj movie watchers to convene and organize what movie would be played next.

Status

While the section is no longer as popular, it is not uncommon to still see people streaming various shows or movies today.
