amongE is a third-party channel emote primarily associated with the forsen community and is used to address "sus" moments. It was first added shortly after its creation in February 2021 when the "amogus" memes became popular and widespread from the videogame Among Us. amongE grew to over 5,000 channel additions across all third party emote providers. It is most commonly posted when there is a reference to something being suspicious or "sus", and is usually paired with the word "snus" in forsen's community.

Design & Origin

The emote is an edited version of the popular amogus emote/meme, with forsenE edited and warped inside it and the leg color changed to a similar tone to match.

The first appearance of amongE can be traced back to forsen's discord on the #discord-emote-suggestions channel by the user tehargi with the caption "amogus".

Afterwards it was quickly spammed all over the discord server and on the #subscribers channel with bajs asking the mods to add it to the twitch chat, which they did after a few days.

Meaning & Usage

amongE is most commonly used when the words "sus" (or suspicious), "snus", "impostor" and "vent" are mentioned, or any reference to the Among Us videogame is made. A popular phrase used with it is "When the impostor is snus".

Spread & Reception

Initially meant to be just a silly edit of amogus with forsen's face, it was quickly loved and spammed by most bajs at the peak of the amogus meme popularity on the internet.

Some bajs considered it a normie meme and didn't particularly like its popularity, with most notable mention being the baj "PoikaU", who spammed the phrase "haHAA AMONGUS haHAA NOT IRONIC BTW haHAA IM ACTUALLY AMONG US NORMIE".

After that it quickly became a meme to tag @PoikaU every time amongE was spammed in the chat.

A song was made by Karabast titled "When the impostor is SNUS", to which forsen reacted on March 10 2021:
