\"A classic sign of narcissistic personality disorder.\" - Les Carter, PhD.
br:only-child)]:hidden\" style=\"float:inline-end;margin-inline-start:16px;box-shadow:;overflow:hidden;min-width:16px;min-height:16px\">

A younger Dr. Les Carter

Origins

Doctor Leslie Carter completed his Bachelor Arts degree in Psychology at Baylor University in Waco, Texas in 1976. He then received his master’s degree at the University of North Texas, which was followed by earning a PhD in Clinical Counseling. With over 25 years of experience in narcissistic personality disorder and anger management, Dr. Les Carter founded Surviving Narcissism in 2018. The platform includes both the Surviving Narcissism YouTube channel and the Dr. Les Carter YouTube channel.

Dr. Les Carter with an unknown female

Dr. Les Carter toughest fight

With over 25 years of experience in narcissistic personality disorder and anger management, Dr. Les has seen it all: grandiosity, fantasies of success, uniqueness, need for admiration, entitlement, exploitation, lack of empathy, envy, and arrogance being the nine main narcissistic traits.

When presented with a new patient suffering from a never seen before malignant terminal narcissist disorder with chronic blame deflection syndrome would prove a whole new challenge for our favorite Doctor. Nothing could have ever prepare him for what was about to come.

br:only-child)]:hidden\" style=\"float:none;box-shadow:;overflow:hidden;clear:both\">

First Appearance

The first appearance of Dr. Les Carter occurs in July 18, 2024, during Forsen's League of Legends era. This was not the first link donation on the stream discussing narcissism, but it was the one that would ultimately establish Dr. Les Carter as the face of opposition against narcissist-sen fragile ego.

Confrontation

The patient would try to discredit Dr. Carter, only to further prove his points by embodying the very traits he describes. As pointed out by a r/forsen user:

br:only-child)]:hidden\" style=\"float:none;box-shadow:;overflow:hidden;clear:both\">

When confronted with criticism, Forsen resorts to personal attacks and mockery rather than addressing the argument itself. Clearly, this can be framed as a classic sign of narcissistic behavior: character assassination, where discrediting the person becomes a substitute for challenging their claims.

Forsen's live therapy session

During the February 24th, 2025, link reaction intro we get a legendary streak of 8 back to back Dr. Les Carter videos (-$160 ). This is, at the date, the closest we have ever gotten to a live therapy session on stream. Note how at 16:20 into the video Forsen raises his voice to talk over Dr. Carter, at the precise moment he is talking about how narcissists fight over control. You cannot make this shit up.

Recurring Guests

Forsen's narcissism proved to be way too strong for the doctor to handle alone, so from time to time he would call for support, inviting different colleagues to join the therapy sessions:

\"No further Dr. Les Carter videos\"

br:only-child)]:hidden\" style=\"float:inline-end;margin-inline-start:16px;box-shadow:;overflow:hidden;width:600px;min-width:16px;min-height:16px\">

On February 21, 2026, Forsen bans any further links from Dr. Carter's \"Surviving Narcissism\" YouTube channel, explaining:

“Yeah this is the problem with this guy, he talks about the same thing every video, so I cannot keep track if we have seen it or not. I literally cannot[...]. Alright, from today on out no more surviving narcissism videos [...].\" - Forsen
br:only-child)]:hidden\" style=\"float:none;box-shadow:;overflow:hidden;clear:both\">

Obviously, this is nothing more than another classic technique of narcissistic manipulation: asserting his power over the stream by deciding which content is allowed to be shown and eliminating material that directly challenges his narcissism. In doing so, Forsen attempts to manipulate his viewers into seeing him as the unquestionable authority, positioning himself above both the content and those who challenge him.

Narcissistic Avoidance

Being overwhelmed by the truth, Forsen resorted to avoid videos where Dr. Les Carter is present. He would declare that he needs to \"rinse his plate\" (even though his plate was already rinsed) or just leave after saying \"one second, i need to get my water\" or other similar excuses. This is a recurring theme during multiple donations:

br:only-child)]:hidden\" style=\"float:none;box-shadow:;overflow:hidden;clear:both\">

This can be understood as a form of escaping confrontation: When faced with uncomfortable material, the narcissist may physically remove himself from the conversation rather than engage with it.

Doctor last video on his channel

Sadly on July 31st, 2025, during the prime of Forsen's 2025 League of Legends arc, Dr. Les Carter announces his retirement of his main YouTube channel. Narcissist-sen proved as the only patient he could not cure nor help.

Bajs Find a Loophole

After the hobo ban on the main Dr. Les Carter YouTube channel, donos simply resorted to link videos on which Dr. Les is a guest, typically hosted by the channel of a colleague.

More Examples of Forsen's Raging Narcissism

Grandiosity Delusions

br:only-child)]:hidden\" style=\"float:inline-start;margin-inline-end:16px;box-shadow:;overflow:hidden;width:600px;min-width:16px;min-height:16px\">

In early 2026 after playing his first NLC matches in the team of 4 Swines & A Bum as a jungler, Forsen bragged about how he managed to hold his ground against pro players, despite not being able to escape the depths of silver, at the time.

Another clear example is Forsen’s altered self-perception as a player. Despite holding a relatively low rank, he confidently claims he can hold his own against top-tier players and frequently refers to himself as the “God Gamer.” Clearly, this can be framed as a classic sign of narcissistic grandiosity: an exaggerated sense of ability and importance that does not necessarily align with reality.

br:only-child)]:hidden\" style=\"float:none;box-shadow:;overflow:hidden;clear:both\">

Arrogant behaviors

br:only-child)]:hidden\" style=\"float:inline-start;margin-inline-end:16px;box-shadow:;overflow:hidden;width:600px;min-width:16px;min-height:16px\">

During the intro in August 2nd, 2025 Forsen displays clear patronizing behaviors towards a chatter that directly criticized his intellect for getting filtered in \"The Talos Principle 2\".

Similar to the previous section on grandiosity, Forsen’s response to a viewer criticizing him for not finishing a puzzle game shows another example. By replying, “What you can do, I can do better” he dismisses the criticism while speaking down to the viewer. Clearly, this can be framed as a classic sign of narcissistic arrogance: treating others as inherently inferior while asserting one’s own superiority.

br:only-child)]:hidden\" style=\"float:none;box-shadow:;overflow:hidden;clear:both\">

Display of Narcissistic Dominance

br:only-child)]:hidden\" style=\"float:inline-start;margin-inline-end:16px;box-shadow:;overflow:hidden;width:600px;min-width:16px;min-height:16px\">

During one of forsen's LIDL games playthroughs, Dr. Les Carter was unjustified kicked from the lobby. Another classic display of forsen's malignant narcissism.

Kicking Dr. Carter from the lobby can be viewed as another example of malignant narcissistic behavior: rather than tolerate someone who challenges his self-image, Forsen removes the perceived threat altogether. The act becomes less about the game itself and more about silencing an unwanted opposition through direct retaliation.

br:only-child)]:hidden\" style=\"float:none;box-shadow:;overflow:hidden;clear:both\">

Narcissistic Entitlement

br:only-child)]:hidden\" style=\"float:inline-start;margin-inline-end:16px;box-shadow:;overflow:hidden;width:600px;min-width:16px;min-height:16px\">

Here Forsen doesn't pay attention to what his team is doing, and when he eventually dies, immediately resorts to blaming them.

Another example can be found when Forsen actively looks for a fight while his jungler is focused on securing the Dragon. After getting caught by the enemy team, he immediately lashes out at his teammates in chat. Clearly, this can be framed as a classic sign of narcissistic entitlement: expecting his teammates to adapt to his decisions and protect him, even when he is the one creating the situation.

br:only-child)]:hidden\" style=\"float:none;box-shadow:;overflow:hidden;clear:both\">

Needs to Appear Certain

br:only-child)]:hidden\" style=\"float:inline-start;margin-inline-end:16px;box-shadow:;overflow:hidden;width:600px;min-width:16px;min-height:16px\">

Dr. Carter mentions seven evidences of narcissist delusional thinking, Forsen only could stand three before his narcissism took over and skipped the video.

The same tendency can be seen when Dr. Carter explains that narcissists have a pathological need to appear certain. Almost immediately, Forsen talks over him, confidently dismissing the point and asserting his own certainty. This makes for a rather convenient demonstration of the very behavior being discussed: the need to always sound certain.

br:only-child)]:hidden\" style=\"float:none;box-shadow:;overflow:hidden;clear:both\">

Need for Admiration

br:only-child)]:hidden\" style=\"float:inline-start;margin-inline-end:16px;box-shadow:;overflow:hidden;width:600px;min-width:16px;min-height:16px\">

While reacting to the video of a colleague of Dr. Carter, Forsen himself acknowledges the real reasons behind joining Mensa.

A fitting example appears during a donation video which talks about people joining Mensa primarily to prove their intelligence and gain prestige. Forsen then mentions having a “140 IQ certified by Mensa,” offering a convenient example of the very behavior being described. Clearly, this can be framed as a classic sign of a narcissistic need for admiration: seeking recognition as proof of one’s worth.

br:only-child)]:hidden\" style=\"float:none;box-shadow:;overflow:hidden;clear:both\">

Narcissistic Deflection

One of the most notable narcissistic traits displayed by Forsen across multiple games is his tendency to shift blame after bad plays, even resorting to blaming the minions. This is a textbook example of narcissist deflection as seen explained by Dr. Les in the video bellow:

This is what we call narcissistic deflection: the inability to accept personal responsibility, combined with an almost immediate need to locate someone else who can be held accountable. The play may have been his, but somehow, the team is always guilty.
